Y-Eh? Canadian young adult and middle grade books community
I discovered a fantastic Canadian YA resource this morning: Y-Eh! Canadian young adult and middle-grade books community
How did I not know about this until now?! I have been imagining something just like this for ages. I ever created a prototype for my web design class this term.
The site has been around for close to a year and was started by YA author Jill Murray. The YA-Eh! team includes contributors Cecil Castellucci, Hélène Boudreau, and Naseem Hrab.
Y-Eh!’s mission is threefold:
- to promote young adult literature within CanLit
- to promote Canadian literature within international YA scenes
- to foster community links between Canadian YA and middle-grade authors online
The team is currently compiling a comprehensive list of Canadian YA and middle-grade authors’ blogs and websites. Though the site is still a bit of a work-in-progress, it’s nevertheless a great place to start if you’re looking for information on Canadian YA and middle-grade literature.
