Just wanted to share a few photos from my recent trip to Costa Rica with Librarians Without Borders. For more of my favourites, check out my Picasa album here.

This is terrific! How did you wind up getting involved with this group and finding out about this service opportunity? I’d love to do something like this.
I was co-chair this term of the student committee of Librarians Without Borders at the University of Western Ontario, where I just finished my MLIS. We connected with an organization in Costa Rica called VIDA (vida.org) which works with youth volunteers from Canada and the U.S. on development projects in different regions of Costa Rica. One of our members who went on the trip had worked with them once before.
