Vanishing Girl wins Ruth and Sylvia Schwartz Award


Today, students at Brampton’s Huttonville Public School today announced the winners of the Ruth and Sylvia Schwartz Children’s Book Awards.

Vanishing Girl: The Boy Sherlock Holmes, His Third Case by Shane Peacock was declared the winner of the Young Adult/Middle Reader category. Vanishing Girl is published by Tundra Books.

The recipient of the $6,000 award was chosen by students in grades 7 and 8.
